Function
In theory, they would have the ability to hinder the reduction in basal metabolic activity due to the reduction in leptin secretion that normally takes place in the context of calorie-restricted diets. They are therefore substances that do not act positively on the metabolism, accelerating it, but instead counteract forces capable of slowing it down. In practice, however, research has shown mixed results, with some of them not supporting the theory.

Form and dosage
Inorganic phosphates are mainly available on the market in the form of orosoluble granules and water-soluble powder. As far as dosage is concerned, studies carried out by independent research institutes are not such as to offer well-defined guidelines. It is therefore recommended to follow the instructions on the label of the product purchased.
