An anabolic or metabolic restoration diet has the characteristic of being high in calories and carbohydrates. This can lead to the adverse affection of fat mass accumulation. One is often forced to interrupt this phase precisely because it is leading to gaining more weight than is tolerable. By taking the right supplementation products, it is considered possible to delay the conclusion of this dietary phase, increasing muscle mass even more, improving cellular trophism (due to the increased nourishment taken in the context of these diets) and building a firmer foundation for a subsequent slimming phase. It is therefore good to consider taking products with this function when the accumulation of fat mass during a high-calorie, high-glucose diet starts to become burdensome. Supplements capable of preventing the accumulation of new fat mass can be classified into two categories:
- products that act directly on lipids (digestion, absorption, storage in adipocytes). The products that belong to this category and will be discussed in this work are green tea, calcium, guarana and garcinia cambogia.
- products that hinder the transformation of carbohydrates into fat. Only garcinia cambogia will be discussed in this category.
